Spent some meaningful days in the studio with .pietila at .studio, wrapping up scratch tracks for 12 songs for my next album.

These scratch tracks are the very first step—the foundation where each song starts to take shape before it grows into what it’s meant to be. Next up? Drums, and then we really start building.

This process has been an incredible experience, and that’s largely because of David. His care, thoughtful direction, and deep skill as an engineer and collaborator made these sessions something special. I’m genuinely grateful to be creating in a space where the music is treated with that level of respect and intention.

Ten of these twelve songs were written this year as part of my effort to step back into the music scene and share my passion again.

What excites me most about this album is the collaboration it will take to bring it fully to life. I’m envisioning drums, violin, banjo, electric guitar, bass, and mandolin—played by an amazing mix of friends and professionals who will each leave their mark on these songs.

This is just the beginning, but it already feels like something worth building together. I can’t wait to see where it goes.
