Az4angela Prepping To Plant! Weekend Vlog!

Took my daughter to Menominee, Michigan for her birthday, and it turned out to be such a solid little getaway.

We planned the trip around one of her favorite things—hunting for beach glass—and spent time at a few parks and along the shoreline finding some good pieces. Definitely worth it.

We stayed at the AmericInn/Wingate, and this was our first trip bringing Rocky… and he did amazing. No issues, no stress—he was just happy to be with us.

Downtown had some really cute shops, and we found a few fun things at Trends & Traditions. Always love finding those random little spots you wouldn’t expect.

We also checked out the lighthouse, which was absolutely beautiful. One of those places you just stop and take in for a minute.

Now, fair warning—the lake flies had just hatched, so yeah… that part wasn’t great 😅 but we worked around it.

Food-wise, we found a local bagel shop with seriously good sandwiches, and of course, we had to try a Michigan pasty. We went with ham and cheese, and it did not disappoint.

All in all, a really good birthday trip—simple, fun, and exactly what we needed.

Look what I finally tracked down at my local grocery store! 😱 I’ve been hunting for these Nescafé Gold Espresso jars and I finally got my hands on the Caramel AND the Vanilla! They were $11.75 each which is definitely a bit steep for instant coffee but honestly? These are a total game changer. My morning coffee game just leveled up! ✨☕️
