Working on some parts for a buddy's custom Jeep TJ.

Wanting to keep things cool under the hood, he wanted some vents for his hood and his fenders.

Got some measurements, drew them up and then cut them today. Just cut one hood vent to this point, making sure the weird contours of the TJ hood get represented properly.

Once we get everything hammered out design-wiser, we will make them available for purchase to the general public.

Still getting the hang of the logic behind . It'll be a while before the shortcuts become second nature.

Designing some hood vents for . These will go along with the fender vents I drew up yesterday. Now to go burn them!

The continues. Bending skills are a little rusty, but that will get fixed in short order. Super happy with how the koozie holder came out.

Shown with 21 koozie in it right now and plenty of space at the top. Will be one of the first items up on the website when it's ready.

And no, we're not currently sponsored by Odell Brewing Co (see top koozie), but we'd be open to discussions. LOL

Working on some new templates for Slothworks Fabrication today. We've already done the work and the cutting on the original design, now we're trying to make it easier and more repeatable.

Here, I'm making the part that he sent me a sketch for (picture 1) where he combines two different parts from the original design. When I draw it up in Fusion, I can easily make the changes necessary to allow for bend radius (green solid and dotted lines - picture 2) and also create the pattern for cutting. The last image shows what the final part will look like once all processes have been completed.

Experimenting a bit with a new toy, the Easy Scriber.

Adds a new dimension to project that I can do.

Doing some prototyping for an idea I had.

The process needs some work, but overall, I'm pretty happy with how this came out.

Getting some work done on a Saturday. Client provided the drawing and materials. Just needed a little cleanup in CAD and some CAM work and we were off to the races!

1/4" grade 50 steel. Cut like butter on the plasma table. Good day.
