If you’re not strength training in middle age, you’re allowing yourself to decline.
Effects of not weight training..
• You lose muscle every year.
• Your metabolism slows down.
• Your body fat increases more easily.
• You lose strength, balance, and bone density.
• Everyday tasks become harder.
truth?
The women who age the best are the ones building and protecting muscle.
The choice is yours.
Do you want to be a frail old lady who struggles to carry groceries, climb stairs, and get off the floor?
Or do you want to be the woman in her 70s and 80s who still hikes, travels, carries her own luggage, and lives independently?
Muscle isn’t just about how you look.
It’s your metabolism.
It’s your strength.
It’s your balance.
It’s your independence.

You’re not too old… you just stopped moving. If you feel like an old person it is because you’re acting like it- you’re sitting around, glued to a computer or TV all day and not moving your body…
People spend decades avoiding the gym, skipping strength training, losing muscle, losing balance, losing mobility… and then are shocked when simple daily tasks become hard later in life.
Muscle is not just about aesthetics. It’s your independence. Your ability to get off the floor, carry groceries, travel, prevent falls, recover from illness, and actually maintain quality of life as you age.
You don’t stop training because you got old. Most people get old because they stopped training.
The bottoms-up kettlebell press challenges your rotator cuff, grip strength, coordination, and shoulder control all at once. The unstable position forces the smaller stabilizer muscles to fire and work overtime.
If the kettlebell is shaking… that’s actually the point.
Start light, move slow, and focus on control over weight.
