Mark you calendars, IT’S BACK! Join us on Friday, Mar. 31, 2023 at Bubolz Nature Preserve for the return of the Impact Auction and to celebrate the First English Summer Intern Program.
Want to get involved? Join the planning team! Volunteers on this team would help with venue decisions, acquiring sponsors and organizing the auction. The team will hold its first meeting on Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. (following worship) at the North Site. Contact Collins, Youth and Intern Coordinator at [email protected] if you are interested or have any questions, or just attend then meeting to find out more!

Summer Intern Program: Now Accepting Applications!
Our Summer Internship program is back! If you are a young adult that is a year out of high school, then you are invited to apply to be a First English Lutheran Church Summer Intern. It is an opportunity to learn more about the church, leadership, and the ministry world, all while discovering more about your own faith. Visit https://www.felc.com/interns to apply or learn more.
The 2022 Summer Intern season has come to a close. As a team we are so thankful for everything that has happened and everyone we have met this summer.
At the last Wednesday Night Worship service, the interns gave recap messages, including the highlights of their account of the summer.

Join the interns TONIGHT at the North Site (6331 N Ballard Rd) for the last Wednesday Night Worship. Service starts at 6:15p.m. and all the interns will be giving a recap of their summer for the message.
Make sure your kids don't miss out on the fun after service!
Collins and the Interns will be leading Wednesday Night Youth Group for both Middle and High School students
Additionally, there will be supervision for children of all ages provided for those in Pastor Ryan's Bible Study.

Our Benefit Open Mic and Silent Auction was a success - thank you to everyone who came and supported our fundraiser! The 2022 Summer Intern Team is happy to announce that we raised $2,237.60 for UNICEF and their efforts in Ukraine.
If you still would like to donate to our fundraiser, it will be open to until Friday, Aug 19.

The FELC Summer Internship gives young adults the unique opportunity to provide their interpretation of scripture through preparation of a message that is given during Wednesday Worship.
This week's message was given by Collins, FELC's new Youth and Intern Ministry Coordinator. By using the text 2 Corinthians 4:6-15, he reminds us that embracing doubt is how we have a true relationship with God.

There will be NO KID'S LIFE next week. The Interns will be helping the Mission Church with Arts Camp - make sure to join in on the fun!

This weeks message was given by Sarah, the 2022 Summer Intern Coordinator. By using the text Ecclesiastes 1:2,12-14, 2:18-23, she reminds us that that we can find enjoyment in our labor and use that enjoyment to guide us to our calling.
