We have a very big announcement that we are very excited to share with everyone.
Alex and I have decided to lease the restaurant to focus on our other projects. The Heiting place needs and deserves management that can focus all their efforts and energy here. We have big things coming as this page will change to The Richmond st. BBQ. We will open a Portuguese BBQ takeout spot in downtown Appleton. we hope that you will all come check us out to try something totally different!

The last 7 months running the Heiting Place has come with so many great experiences and learning opportunities for us. We got the chance to meet so many beautiful people and we are very glad that we got to live this.

Our last day open as the Heiting Place will be February 14th and we ask that anyone with a gift card please use them before the 14th.

We happily announce that we have leased the restaurant and bar to an amazing couple from New London. Ryan and Jamie, the owners of Bean City Grill. They are ambitious, hard working, and very excited for this new venture! The Heiting Place will be renamed as ✨The Duchess Eatery and Spirits ✨and will reopen in early March. We hope that you all will support the new owners and keep this place alive. They will be open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner with later hours and a whole new menu! With Dutch inspired cuisine as well as all the Wisconsin favorites. They are famous for their burgers and unique flavors, I am sure we are leaving you all in very capable hands! We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the time we had here. From the staff to the customers, we will forever remember this time in our lives. Thank you! And come see us for a drink and some food a couple more times before the 14th

Brazilian steak dinner on the special board this week. Try it and you will understand why Picanha is called the “Queen of meats”! Served with white rice and fries. A delicious cilantro cream sauce and Brazilian “trooper beans”. Trust me this will not disappoint.

Deep fried walleye tonight everyone! We also will have our beloved bourbon glazed salmon and a new tenderloin with peppercorn brandy sauce we are excited to have you all try. So come out for a beautiful Friday fish fry! 🫶🏻🐠🐟🦐
