Have your cake and eat it too! Heading into college in 2008, I started at the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State.
I began my studies in the Culinary Arts program and I was on my way to becoming a culinarian chef. In 2010, I had a change of heart and decided I really wanted to focus more on baking and decorating cakes and pastries. I had to wait a year to join the program and FINALLY in 2011 I started my career path in Pastry Arts. I developed numerous skills and techniques over the next two years until I grad
uated in May of 2013 with my Associates of Applied Business degree. I strive every day to provide not just great looking, but great tasting treats; ranging from cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, wedding cakes and so much more. While I still work on perfecting my technique, I never put out a product I’m not happy with. Everything I bake is fresh and from scratch. For a scratch made product, I try my best to give clients the best bang for their buck. While I still have room for improvement -- because nobody is perfect -- please know I put my heart and soul into my products to achieve the look you are imagining. I take a great amount of pride in the products I produce. Furthermore, I want to say “Thank You” to everyone that has given me an opportunity to bake for them! Without you I wouldn’t be able to keep doing what I enjoy the most.
