We were lucky to spend 10 days in our favorite place — somewhere I’ve been going since I was a toddler, and now we get to continue that tradition with our own family. There’s something really special about coming back year after year and making new memories in a place that already holds so many.

It was the perfect escape from the craziness of our schedules. And as the girls get older, these trips look a little different — a little slower, a little more relaxed, and just as meaningful.🩵

I know it’s not February yet, but with this freezing Wisconsin weather, I figured a little love was just what we needed to warm our hearts ❤️❄️

We had one day where the girls were together before Valentine’s Day, so we happily took advantage of a no-school Monday. No need to go anywhere this year—a little makeshift indoor studio at home did the trick.

Stay warm and safe out there, Midwest, and enjoy the “freeze” day off! 🥶💕

Same Dew Drop costume, same location… just a different day and a different beautiful ballerina, Isabel.

In past years, my daughter and Isabel have always taken their Nutcracker photos together, but crazy schedules (and a shared role!) made it impossible this time. I am so happy we were able to sneak this session in before they both hit the stage next weekend!

It’s Nutcracker season in our house again, but this year we switched things up with an indoor photoshoot—thankfully, because a winter storm hit that day🩰❄️

Barb's Centre for Dance 26th Annual Spirit of the Holidays & Nutcracker will have two weekends of performances in Green Bay and Appleton — Saturday, December 13th and Saturday, December 20th. All proceeds from these holiday productions are donated to local nonprofit organizations, making this tradition even more meaningful. Come get into the holiday spirit with beautiful dancing, festive music, and all the magic of the season.

Spent this beautiful October morning with the sweetest family!

There’s something extra special about taking photos on family land — and little Emilyn even got to sneak in a picture with her grandma and great-grandma. She is one loved little girl 🧡

We had to reschedule this mini session because of rain, and ended up squeezing them in at the very end of the day — when it was still raining, windy, cold, and the daylight was quickly fading. But these kiddos were total rock stars!

Little Wynn kept me on my toes chasing her, but honestly, I’m so glad she did — I captured so many adorable shots that show off her personality perfectly.

The mom and I actually grew up just a couple streets apart! She moved when we were kids, and a couple of years ago, I was sure I saw her at the grocery store. Turns out I was right! Such a small world that we ended up in the same city again, with our kids now in the same school district. So fun to reconnect!

Yesterday wasn't the best day for mini sessions —dodging rain, wind, and cold—but we had just 15 minutes to get it all done, and I think Carter nailed it! We managed to capture a few solid headshots just in time for the yearbook.

It's Tatum's world and we are just living in it...and what an awesome world it is! 🤎 Those freckles and blue eyes get me every year.
