The day after the Sabbath day was the first day of the week. That day at dawn Mary Magdalene and the other woman named Mary went to look at the tomb.

Suddenly an angel of the Lord came from the sky, and there was a huge earthquake. The angel went to the tomb and rolled the stone away from the entrance. Then he sat on top of the stone. The angel was shining as bright as lightning. His clothes were as white as snow. The soldiers guarding the tomb were very afraid of the angel. They shook with fear and then became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, “Don’t be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus, the one who was killed on the cross. But he is not here. He has risen from death, as he said he would. Come and see the place where his body was. Matthew 28:1-6 ERV

This is what love looks like. Have I mentioned how much I love my job? I get to spend one-on-one time with humans spreading comfort.

Today we said goodbye to my handler. Although we were all sad, the service was filled with hope fueled by Rick's faith and God's promises. I would like to personally thank everyone who attended to support Rick's family and friends, my church family, and especially my team. We are all truly humbled by your support.

Recently I was training at a local store with one of my handlers. I noticed this display of stuffies. I admired them wishing I could take one home, but then I remembered Bunny and that I already have what I need.

It's been a difficult week. I hope this picture of me as a puppy brings a smile to your face.

Today my team gathered together to support each other after learning about the loss of my handler, Rick, as a result of an accident. We prayed and shared sweet memories. Rick was a gentle giant with deep faith and a servant's heart. We do not understand God's plan, but we take comfort in knowing he is with Jesus, his Lord and Savior.

Friends, I humbly request that you please pray for the peace and comfort only The Lord can provide to Rick's family during this difficult time.

Recently my team and I visited Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley. We spent time with students in small groups. They told me about their pets at home, asked me questions about my work, and even read books to me. I don't know how to read, so I always enjoy being read aloud to.

This throwback photo seems perfect for today. My humans have been talking about the Olympics and also a big football game. If you're gathering together to enjoy sports today, I hope you have good snacks and good fellowship. I'll be right here with my bunny and my toys.

These photos are from a recent to Silverstone. I spent time with lots of friends and also got to connect with a friend who recently moved from another place I visit. Spending time with friends is a great way to warm up during this cold weather.
