This weekend was the first weekend of shows that the new Lutino varieties could be shown, and they did not disappoint! Allen Mesick took a few agouti (shadow) and orange to the triple show in Hollister, CA and the Agoutis took the AOV Group in every show, as well as the Agouti Sr Buck (pictured first) taking BOSB in show 1 under Alan Rafferty!!
Becky Stock also showed some Lutino in Sedalia, MO and took BOG AOV with an Orange!
We're so happy to see this color already winning on the tables, and can't wait for them to become a popular variety & get some national wins as well ๐ We see big things in the future for the Lutinos!! ๐งก๐
An informative post on the feedback from the standards committee on how Lutinos will be shown:
They will be shown under one variety (Lutino) in the AOV Group 5. Shadow Lutino have been renamed Agouti Lutino (potentially temporarily) to better define the color for judges and exhibitors.
They are eligible to be shown starting December 1st!
