Fun news: putting together a writers round the first Thursday of every month, starting November here in the Fox Valley. I want to showcase some of the amazing talent we have around here in a beautiful venue. Tandem Wine and Beer is going to be graciously supplying the space.

🔥 MICHAEL MURPHY & THE MOB
We’re kicking things off with a guy who has been making music around Wisconsin for a LONG time.
Michael Murphy & the Mob have deep roots in the Fox Valley blues scene, with a sound heavily influenced by Chicago-style blues, Americana and good old-fashioned roots music. Michael has been performing throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest for years, both solo and with the Mob. (MnBlues)
And if you’ve never seen the Mob live… well, you’re in for a treat.
🎶 JOSHUA T. HESTER — APPLETON
Joshua is a Wisconsin-based Americana and folk singer-songwriter whose music is built around storytelling, real-life experiences and American roots music.
He’s no stranger to the road either. Joshua spent more than a decade performing throughout the Midwest with the Americana project Listening Party, playing hundreds of shows and appearing at places and events including Summerfest, the Wisconsin State Fair and Mile of Music. He’s also a multi-instrumentalist who plays bass, mandolin and guitar. (Bandsintown)
His music has that distinctly Wisconsin/Midwestern feel — honest stories, roots, Americana, a little humor and songs that actually have something to say.

And then we’ve got Isaiah Driessen bringing something a little different to the mix.
Isaiah is a Little Chute singer-songwriter blending Western psychedelic folk, Americana and indie rock into his own unique sound. He’s been building his own musical world right here in the Fox Valley and has even created a stage on his own property for multi-day music festivals. 🎶🌿 (Buzzslayers)
