If Hawaii is on your bucket list, this post is for you! I have been finding all kinds of great flight deals to tropical destinations for the summer. My best tip when booking flights is always start with Google Flights. If you go to Google flights and look from the west coast to any of Hawaii Islands, you will see round trip flights as low as $333! I did LAX to OGG (Maui) and found one in late August for $333 round trip, and that's a steal! Happy booking!

2019 was so, so good... for so many reasons. a bunch of these reasons made it to Facebook, but SO many of them didn’t. and I’m really happy about that. we made some of the best memories together in 2019- traveling the country together, launching a travel blog, adopting Luna, moving across the country together, laughed + cried together, prayed together, got engaged, took a 2 week road trip together + sooo much more.

but I also want to be transparent with you all + acknowledge that 2019 was very challenging too. 2019 brought a lot of changes and to be honest with you, at times it was just really dang hard. Moving away from friends and family can be extremely isolating and we struggled. Once we settled into our new life in Denver, the anxiety crept in. I had a sinking feel in my stomach every day that we had made a mistake moving here. Was I really cut out to make it this far away from home? I felt so overwhelmed + unprepared + so disappointed.

I prayed through those weeks that I would be reminded that this move was something we had worked so hard for. I am so thankful that the lord helped me work through those anxious feelings and opened my eyes to help others through my blog. This blog has been the best thing I have ever created and I am so thankful you are here.

I’m so hopeful + excited + terrified all at once about what lies ahead but remaining faithful that everything will fall into place. Here’s to a new year + another new beginning + what we believe will be our greatest adventure yet. Hearts, minds, + arms wide open... we’re ready for you, 2020 ♥️

A great few days in Michigan and now we’re hitting the road again! Off to Chicago.

Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas. We’re on the road to our next stop, Wisconsin! Tomorrow I’ll be sharing Appleton, Wisconsin with all of you and I can’t wait. What is your favorite holiday tradition?

Started my 2 week road trip today! To those of you that guessed a Midwest tour, you were right!! First stop: Mount Rushmore. We’re in Rapid City, South Dakota for the night. Have you been to Mount Rushmore before?! Where should we eat dinner tonight??
