Tuesday morning surprise.
Today we found out that Anika has officially been awarded THREE Wisconsin Raw State Records by Powerlifting America.
🏋️♀️ 84+ kg Sub-Junior Total Record: 467.5 kg (1,030.7 lbs)
🏋️♀️ 84+ kg Sub-Junior Deadlift Record: 190 kg (418.9 lbs)
🏋️♀️ And another Wisconsin state record added to her growing list.
These certificates represent years of early mornings, countless hours under the bar, sacrifices, setbacks, and the choice to keep showing up day after day.
With Team USA and the World Championships in South Africa just around the corner, this is a reminder of how far she’s come—and why she’s earned the honor of wearing USA across her chest.
We’re incredibly proud of you, Anika. These records are milestones in a journey that’s still being written. 🇺🇸❤️💙

Appleton East powerlifter Anika Olson picked to represent Team USA for IPF World Championships Appleton East student and Two-time national champion Anika Olson sets sights on South Africa for the IPF World Championships.
Big news for Team Anika today! 🇺🇸
Both WBAY-TV Channel 2 and WFRV-TV Channel 5 came out to interview Anika and capture video about her powerlifting journey, her upcoming trip to represent Team USA at the World Championships in South Africa, and the community support helping her get there.
Anika will be featured on both stations during their separate 6:00 p.m. newscasts tonight—so tune in to WBAY Channel 2 or WFRV Channel 5 to catch the coverage.
We also believe a longer feature may air during the 10:00 p.m. news, and we will share additional details as soon as they are confirmed.
We are incredibly grateful to both stations for taking the time to share Anika’s story and recognize the hard work, discipline, and determination behind this opportunity.

What a day for Anika! 🇺🇸
She totaled 467.5 kg — over 1,030 pounds, hit two new PRs, and delivered standout results:
🏆 1st place in her weight class
🏆 2nd place overall female lifter
🏆 2nd place team finish with BDJ Strength
Her lifts:
Squat: 408 pounds — PR
Bench: 204 pounds — PR
Deadlift: 419 pounds
These results reflect years of relentless training, discipline, and determination.
Each meet brings Anika closer to representing Team USA at the 2026 World Championships in South Africa.
