GBC is a Church Family independent of denomination, old fashioned in practice, fresh in vision and Biblical in Doctrine. We are conservative in music and love singing the old hymns with vigor. We are biblical in our convictions and kind to those who may not have the same view. We are striving to be diligent in our outreach to our community and the world with the Gospel. We use the King James Bible

When A. W. Tozer said this,
he wasn’t trying to be controversial—
he was sounding an alarm.
Not about the world getting darker—
but about the Church growing comfortable in it.
We’ve learned how to attract crowds,
but forgotten how to carry a cross.
We’ve mastered relevance,
but lost reverence.
We shape the message
to fit the culture—
instead of letting the message
confront it.
The early Church feared God.
The modern church fears
empty seats.
“The church has failed,
by living too much like the world!”
It’s easy to see the problem out there.
Harder to ask
how much of it
has crept in here.

When they say Happy Easter, they mean Happy
Resurrections Sunday. The day that changed everything for us. When death was defeated and victory was made available. By the grace of God, the gospel is completed and salvation is available to all the world. The good news of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ to provide the gift of eternal life and redeem man back to God.
