Morning Sub Shack family!! Quick update. There has been some delays in the opening due to permitting. Hope to have it taken care of soon.

To all my friends, I’m sorry for the sudden shift in direction, but as you guys know I’ve been busting my butt for a long time now. At my age, I’m grateful to have the energy to do so, but it’s time to take a back seat!!
I can’t express how grateful and blessed I feel for the 4 years at The Sub Shack. You’ve allowed me to be myself and keep it real!! I realize that this business isn’t so much about the food, but the incredible relationships I’ve been blessed to have!
I’m not totally disappearing, but I’m taking some time off to figure out what I want to do when I grow up!!!
Be nice to Ivan, he’s an awesome Chef and I know you’ll be happy with his Mexican twist on BBQ.
I will miss everyone!! I hope that wherever I land, I will have such great customers like you!!!

FAMILY FIRST!!!!
We will be closed Friday, Saturday and possibly all of next week. Changes are coming to The Sub Shack. Gotta keep evolving. Besides, it time for this "Old Man" to take a backseat! Nothing like 90 degree weather in February to remind you it's time to hand over the heavy lifting to someone else!! I'll just keep running marathon's!
