Hello and welcome to Apex UMC’s YouTube Channel! Our congregation has been gathering in the greater Apex area since 1870 (we celebrated our sesquicentennial in 2020!!). God has moved in amazing ways over our history and continues to move today.

We gather on Sunday mornings to encounter God through worship. We offer both traditional United Methodist worship and a more casual, contemporary worship, both of which are livestreamed. At Apex UMC our Mission is “to invite and equip all to follow Jesus in transforming the world.” We offer a wide variety of opportunities to connect to Christ and this congregation, and we encourage all to grow in discipleship. We hope you will catch the spirit of this place and its people.

Almighty God, you rescued your people from slavery in Egypt, and throughout the ages you have never failed to hear the cries of the captives. Anoint us with your Spirit to bring good news to the poor, to proclaim release to the captives, to bring sight to the blind and to let the oppressed go free. In your name we pray, Amen. 💜

Join us in prayer for Spokane County, Washington, as the Upriver Fire continues to quickly spread across the region. Since the fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon, more than 200 acres have burned, nearly 12,000 residents in the densely populated area nearby have been evacuated, and 15 homes have been damaged, with thousands at risk.
As firefighters work to contain the fire, UMCOR is in communication with the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference disaster response coordinator. As the needs of those impacted become known, we stand ready to support their immediate and long-term responses to this disaster.
