A
crane operator and two co-workers were
electrocuted when a truck crane’s
elevated boom contacted a 7,200 volt
uninsulated primary conductor 31 feet
above the ground. When the operator
stepped from the cab of the truck, a
conduction pathway to the ground was
established through the operator’s right
hand and right foot, resulting in
electrocution. A co-worker attempted to
