These Leachianus geckos were born in May 2026 from a Yate × MCDM pairing and were incubated as males. Leachies are the largest gecko species in the world, known for their impressive size, powerful grip, and unique appearance.

It's always exciting to watch these little giants begin their journey! They're available at our shop right now.✨

🔍🐍 Discover with Declan!

This week, Declan takes a look at Benson & Sons Snake Oil & Reptile Rub—a product with a long history in the reptile hobby.

Fun fact: Declan is originally from California. We know... shock. 😆 His passion for reptiles started early, and much of his husbandry knowledge was shaped by time spent learning from the owners of a local pet shop in Santa Cruz.

It's always important to recognize the people who helped spark our love for reptiles and taught us the fundamentals of proper care. Thanks to those mentors who help grow the reptile community, one keeper at a time.

Have you ever used Snake Oil & Reptile Rub? Let us know your experience below! 👇

🌎 Happy World Environment Day! Today we're discovering the Tucson shovel-nosed snake with Dan - an Arizona subspecies facing ongoing habitat loss and population decline.
As discussions surrounding the proposed Interstate 11 corridor continue, conservationists have raised concerns about potential impacts to some of the snake's remaining habitat. If future petitions or conservation efforts arise, we encourage everyone to stay informed and help raise awareness for this unique desert species.
And when enjoying Arizona's wild places, remember to stay on designated routes and be mindful of off-road vehicle use, which can impact fragile desert habitats and the wildlife that call them home.
