☕ Weekend Status at Top Drawer Components ☕
The machines are quiet.
The sawdust is settled.
The forklifts are parked.
And the shop floor is getting a well-deserved day of rest.
After a busy week of building quality drawer boxes and components, this weekend is for recharging so we're ready to hit the ground running on Monday.
We'll be back next week turning wood into organization solutions, but today we're enjoying the calm before another productive week.
Even Birchy has traded his hard hat for a lazy Saturday. 🦫
Have a great weekend from all of us at Top Drawer Components!

Birchy showed up to the BlueVent project today ready to leave a lasting impression… literally 😄
Caught mid-mission trying to sneak a handprint into the fresh cement—guess Birchy wants to be part of the foundation forever! 👋🛠️
We’re not sure if the crew approved of the “extra detail,” but Birchy seemed pretty proud of the effort 😂
Video captured during our recent overnight concrete pour and daytime finishing work.
👷♂️ Big thanks to everyone who made this happen — safety first, teamwork always.
What do you think of the progress? Drop a comment! 👇

🚧 Progress is pouring in! 🚧
A major milestone has been reached on our BlueVent Dust Collector project at Top Drawer Components — the concrete has officially been poured! 💪
This foundation represents more than just concrete and steel; it's another step toward improving our facility, enhancing dust collection capabilities, and creating an even better work environment for our team.
A big thank you to everyone involved in planning and executing this phase of the project. We’re excited to watch this transformation continue and look forward to sharing more updates as the installation progresses.
Stay tuned — there's more to come!

A lot can happen over a holiday weekend… 👀🔧
While most people were enjoying the long weekend, progress was rolling into the shop at Top Drawer Components with the installation of our new TPS Upcut! 💪
Before kicking things into full gear, our Plant Manager Raymond Mitchell gathered the team on the shop floor for an important safety briefing to make sure everyone is informed, prepared, and ready for the next chapter of growth.
Safety and teamwork remain at the center of everything we do.
Excited to see this machine in action and what it means for the future of TDC! 👏

This Memorial Day, we reflect with gratitude on those who never made it home and keep their families and loved ones in our thoughts.
From all of us at Top Drawer Components, thank you to our fallen heroes. 🇺🇸

🚀 Finding Your True North – Even When You Veer Off Course 🚀
At Top Drawer Components, we know that building something exceptional — whether it’s a perfectly dovetailed drawer or a thriving business — isn’t always a straight line.
Sometimes you think you’re headed in the right direction, only to realize a measurement was off, a material choice didn’t perform as expected, or an entire process needed rethinking. Mistakes happen. That’s part of craftsmanship. It’s part of growth.
The key isn’t avoiding every setback. It’s using them to recalibrate and get back to your True North — that uncompromising commitment to quality, teamwork, and doing right by our customers and team.
Every scrap piece we’ve turned into something useful, every process we’ve refined after a hiccup, and every lesson shared on the shop floor reminds us: setbacks aren’t the end of the journey. They’re the precise adjustments that help us deliver drawers that exceed expectations, time after time.
To our team, our partners, and everyone chasing excellence in their craft:
Keep your eyes on your True North. Learn from the detours. Celebrate the comebacks.
Because the best drawers — and the best outcomes — are built by those who refuse to stay off course.
What’s one “mistake” that ultimately led you to a better result? Share in the comments — we’d love to hear your story. 👇

🎄🔧 BREAKING: Birchy has officially left the North Pole! 🔧🎄
Apparently, toy-making just wasn’t giving Birchy the thrill he was looking for… so he traded in candy canes for hard hats and headed straight for the BlueVent Dust Collector project! 💨👷♂️
Spotted on-site today, Birchy is already taking his new role VERY seriously—supervising excavations, rocking his hi-vis vest, and making sure everything is on the “nice list” for safety standards ✅ (Santa would be proud).
Rumor has it he said, “If there’s going to be dust, I want to be the one collecting it!” 😂
North Pole HR is still processing his “temporary relocation request”… but something tells me Birchy might be sticking around for the action.
Stay tuned—this little elf might just become the newest project manager! 🚧✨Someone needs to send Paul Swaney the memo though
