By Linda Zambrano-Robinson (daughter in law to Edward) My final report on Edward Edgar Robinson 1911-1957. It has been a long journey after 30 years to research his history and his life, to discover his roots where he was born and where he passed away at the age of 46. It was made only possible with Ancestry DNA. My last chapter reveals a close DNA match 559 CM. This match led to my discovery of a child of Edward's, Margaret Salazar was born in 1939 in Phoenix, Arizona to Edward and Lupe Salazar. She is John's newest half sister. She would of been 82 years old this year. Edward was born William Edward Ralston July 7, 1911 in St Mary's New Brunswick and passed away April 15, 1957 Bakersfield, California. YDNA which traces the male line leads to the name McCutcheon. more to follow....
I was a part of solving three family Ancestry DNA matches. TWO wonderful family reunions this last weekend. My family not a happy one but still working on the 80 year old mystery story.
DP met her father for the first time. Its been 56 long years she was looking for him!!!
AND BH met his DNA father for the first time after 40 years!! He did not know his father was not his father until he did his DNA test. What a surprise! So happy for them both, new beginnings.
Always follow your DNA, not the paper documents especially birth records. DNA does not lie, it tells us the truth!

This 1947picture is part of our 80 year old "story" mystery, The Daniels. It tells many stories. Nellie the little girl was taught Trick Roping by Edward and appeared in rodeo shows. Clara was Edward's "2nd family". Pete was a horse trader, buying and selling horses to race on the race tracks through out Arizona and New Mexico. Pete shot and killed a man he claims in self defense. Bail was set at 2,000 and he went to live in Texas. The outcome of the trial will never be known as Pete passed away six months later in his 40's. Clara must of had a broken heart from the picture Edward left his family 65 years ago. He also passed away in his 40's. Rodeo life back then must of been rough for them ol cowboys. The jockey on the horse belongs to another story mystery that has been solved.
The Big YDNA brings another twist to this story of "Who is the real Edward Edgar Robinson?" A confirmed Ralston by autosomal ancestry DNA,Now a MCCUTCHEON by YDNA. YDNA follows the male line.
Coming soon, the next chapter on the YDna. We are not Ralstons, we are McCutheon's.
