56 years ago, the Mining camp restaurant opened its doors to the public, since then we have shared many fond memories, enjoyed the many friends that we have made, and it has been our pleasure serving the public. We wish to thank you for your confidence in choosing us.
As many of you know on July 25th, 2017 a devastating fire destroyed our beloved restaurant.
Today we announce that the Mining camp Restaurant will officially remain closed. While reaching this decision has been a long road traveled, and it’s been an emotional heart wrenching time for us, after long debate, we must close this chapter with much optimism and move on in our lives
Looking back over the years we have confronted seemingly insurmountable business challenges and enjoyed many successes. Through both, we have learned and are forever grateful for the experience.
We wish to thank all our customers, the community for its outpouring of support, and the wonderful staff that helped to make it such a success.
While we cherish the memories, we will look forward to making more friends along the way.
Sincerely,
Vinton Fugate

Wishing you all the happiest of Thanksgivings!!
Thinking of the traditions that we have shared with so many over the years, and how strange it is to not be a part of them this year.
We are so thankful for all of the love and support that has been given over the past few months. We are truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community.
