Starting next year, Lost Dutchman Days will be introducing an all-new event: Chicken Roping! 🐣

That’s right — in an effort to “level the playing field” and keep things extra interesting, competitors will trade in their steers for some fast, feisty farmyard chickens. 🏃‍♂️🐓

Organizers say the new event will test “precision, patience, and pure luck” as contestants attempt to rope animals that zig, zag, and have absolutely no intention of cooperating.
