Hey, Parents, let your kids get lost this summer! Send them on a worry-free adventure into the old West with wholesome books by Mark L. Redmond!
The Adventures of Arty Anderson will transport your middle grade readers to post-Civil War Texas, where they'll have so much fun, they won't want to come home for dinner.
"I read this series to my 3rd and 4th graders for quite a few years. They LOVED the books. These books have great cliffhangers-which I loved to stop on each day.
Years later an 8th grader came back and asked if she could borrow the series to read again-she loved them so much from when I read them to her in 3rd grade!"
The Box M Gang series will whisk young readers back in time to post-Civil War Arizona Territory. They'll join the five orphaned Martin siblings as they try to operate their ranch without letting anyone discover they've lost both parents.
"I really enjoy getting Mark Redmond’s books for our kids. The stories are clean and well-written, without annoying proofing mistakes. I can trust them to my kids without previewing them and know there will be nothing objectionable in them. But we have also enjoyed reading his books WITH our kids over the years. They are even great for grandparents to read with their grands. His Arty Anderson was a favorite series for my dad and the grandkids to enjoy and discuss together.
"In this new Box M Gang book, we are introduced to an entirely new cast of characters, some loveable, some that I’m still not sure about, and a few that absolutely made my blood pressure rise in frustration. 🙂
"Redmond has the knack of character development! The problem is resolved well, but he leaves you ready and waiting for the next book in the series. We’ll be waiting for it.... 🙂"
I didn't forget about you grownups either. The Bounty Hunter Nate Landry series will take you to post-Civil War Arizona Territory too!
"'In my profession, a man can't afford to be careless. A lot of dead bounty hunters and lawmen only made one mistake.' Nate Landry - Bounty Hunter
"Redmond spins an entertaining story around a kidnapping and a mother desperate to get her son back. But she can't do it alone, and when she asks Nate Landry to help ... the final confrontation will also challenge him to face his past."
Let your entire family get lost this summer. You'll find your way home, but you'll want to saddle up and ride away again! If you enjoy the ride, please do me a favor and tell your friends to get lost too!
