In special recognition of D-Day, we're sharing this incredible map as a visual of the massive teamwork and grit that powered the Allied push across Normandy.

June 6, 1944, marked the moment when thousands of brave souls stormed the beaches and began turning the tide of the war. The map lays out the swirl of movement as American, British, and Canadian forces fought their way inland and squeezed the German lines toward Falaise.

Today we at Roadhaven honor all who served and sacrificed on this day that reshaped history.

Calling all artists, builders, and bird lovers! 🎨🧑‍🎨 Join our June Birdhouse/feeder challenge. Create and donate a birdhouse or bird feeder to Lost Dutchman State Park. Your creations will benefit the amazing birds that call our park home, and add whimsy for everyone to enjoy!

Any style, any color, any design is welcome. Let your creativity and imagination run wild! No experience needed. All ages are welcome to participate. Drop off at the visitor center anytime during June (hours from 6 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.). No park entry fee required for drop off only.
