We are hiring! Actively looking for material handlers to support our daily operations.
As a material handler, you will perform an array of functions:
- Safety awareness is a must
- Receiving, inspecting and processing incoming materials
- Loading and unloading various vehicles
- Greeting customers, weighing materials
- Organizing and sorting received materials
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Be able to work in elements
- Be able to work Monday - Saturday 7:45 - 4:15 with one weekday off
No previous work experience required, training will be provided upon hiring
Previous recycling center/scrap yard working experience is a plus
Familiarity with hand tools, forklift operating is also a plus

EVT Recycling is a family owned local scrap metal recycler, we have been servicing the surrounding communities for more than 10 years.

We are actively looking individuals with respectable work ethic, to support our daily operations. No prior experiences necessary, on the job training will be provided upon start.

As a material handler, you will perform an array of functions:
- Safety awareness is a must
- Receiving, inspecting, weighing incoming materials from customers
- Loading and unloading various vehicles
- Engaging customers during above processes
- Processing recyclable metal materials
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Be able to work in elements

Preferred Qualifications:
- Excavator, Bobcat, Skid steer, Forklift operating experiences
- Recycling facilities, scrap yard working experiences

Schedule:
- One scheduled weekday and Sunday of
- Daily 7:50AM - 4:10PM
- Overtime opportunities available on the scheduled off weekdays

Compensation:
- Starts @ $17/hr, actual compensations will be determined based on relevant experience levels and interviews
- Sick time, PTO available after first 30 days of employment
