Digging at the base of the mountain today. Double riser install, stub up at the power pole and transformer pit.

Working up in Rio Verde today. We trenched 400 ft of 3 inch and 100 ft of 2.5 inch conduit for SRP power. We plumbed up both a Jbox and transformer, and installed a riser as well as crossed a private dirt road and spliced into existing conduit. We backfilled everything on private property and called for SRP inspection for work done in the right of way. All in a day’s work!

The new Tempe Firehouse got some gas sleeving today. 60 feet of gas sleeve trenched, sleeve installed, shaded, backfilled with compaction all in one day. Ends are left open so Southwest Gas can come in and run the gas line.

A tip for your Tuesday. When digging in the dirt, buy soccer socks and fold them over to stop the dirt and rock from getting in.

1 in conduit for telecommunications in Pardise Valley needed to take a little dip to get under the fence footers for a tear down/rebuild.

Road crossing today in Apache Junction on Southern. The views are beautiful but the traffic was busy. We called in an extra flagger today to keep it safe.
