A little Car vs Garage job on a Saturday. Restoration Builders does it all. Was able to get customers car out of garage and resecured everything, ready for insurance inspection, so we can finish the rest.

What a transformation of this home...and we are not done yet. Restoration Builders really has the best crews around. Customer was just absolutely amazing to work with as we did all this before they had even seen the home ever. Talk about trust. Thanks again Kurt, for the referral Marine!

Restoration Builders Started a new demo this week. This will be a huge transformation, once complete next week. And then a 22' bi fold slider on the back wall. Thanks Kurt Sabel for the referral. Best part of this gig is working with friends.

Psalm 30 is absolutely amazing. God saved me from death and freed me from drugs and alcohol. He also doesn't allow them to mock or rule over me today. I am a free man and can go anywhere because He is there and is in me. Nothing on this earth can take that fact away TODAY! As long as I stay connected to Him through bible reading, prayer and meetings. I get to do all those things today. They are not chores or just a checklist. They are things that bring absolute true joy in my life.

Had just an amazingly perfect day with my bride yesterday for our anniversary. Pool time, took a power nap, beautiful dinner at Flemings where we discussed our goals for this year. I love setting goals and dreaming with her. Dacey made me had a song made of our marriage and put it to photos. Sweetest gift ever. The other day I was hanging out with a friend. This friend is a Christian, but he doesn’t always act, speak or think like one. Some days, he is completely in-line with God’s path and some days, his life is a struggle that gets the best of him.
As I saw him, I really wanted to say something about it, but, I decided to let the Lord speak to his heart, knowing nothing that I say will have the same impact as the Father’s words.
So…. I prayed with him and after some time had passed, I winked at him, and walked away from the mirror.
I try everyday, and I fail everyday. I am so not perfect, I am a work in progress, and I'm thankful for God’s grace and His promises to His believers.

I am that guy.

Today by the grace of a very loving God I am blessed to call Jesus Christ and the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous and Celebrate Recovery I celebrate 14 years of sobriety. Congratulations to my Higher Power! I can't, He can, I will continue to let Him!! Today I was feeling super grateful for all the amazing individuals that God has put into my life on this Journey of recovery.
