Awesome job Ms Mae and Ms Meredith on our day 1 AIM auditions. We are off to see the wizard!!!

Just a reminder that AIM Company Auditions are tonight!

For dancers under age 6.5, an audition is not required. Interested dancers must submit an AIM application, which can be found on our website.

Dancers attending auditions should arrive a few minutes early to warm up, wear proper dance attire, have their hair secured, and bring all necessary dance shoes.

We are excited to see everyone and look forward to another amazing season with Artists in Motion!

I wish I had more pictures from last night, but as you know, I was a little busy internally arguing with Mother Nature. Apparently she thought opening weekend needed extra lighting.

But like true dancers, everyone hit that stage and performed like total professionals. Rain, wind, chaos… nothing is stopping us from doing what we love!

Yikes guys what a great first show!!! We will be starting the 7pm show at 715 to accommodate those coming in. Once you get here come into the auditorium the more the merrier and the 5oclock show audience stay for awhile and enjoy the dancing.

Dear Recital Families,

As many of you may be aware, severe weather is being forecasted around the time of our recitals. We want to assure everyone that we are closely monitoring the situation and have a plan in place to keep all dancers and audience members safe.

The school will be open at 4:00 PM a 1/2 hour earlier then scheduled; however, the auditorium doors will not open until 4:30 PM.

Per the school's emergency procedures, the auditorium is the designated shelter area in the event of severe weather. Because all dancers will remain in the auditorium for the duration of the show, there will be no need to move students to a different location should severe weather occur.

If a tornado warning is issued and warning sirens sound during the recital, we will immediately pause the performance and follow all school safety procedures until it is safe to resume. The safety of our dancers, families, and staff is our highest priority.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to celebrating a wonderful "8 Counts - 1 Stage" recital together.

Tech rehearsal is done now into 2 days of shows. Thanks everyone for a great night.

Tech Rehearsal is this Wednesday, June 10th at Westosha Central High School.

Tech rehearsal dress code is the recital t-shirt, black shorts/leggings, hair pulled back and all required dance shoes.

Dancers will sit in the auditorium in assigned areas. Once they dance onstage, they may leave. Please have only one person bring your dancer to the dress rehearsal. Each class will run their dance once unless stage blocking is needed.

We are very limited on our time so we cannot wait for late arrivals or re-run classes who had people missing.

**NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM.**
As asked by the school, ONLY water is allowed in the dressing rooms and the auditorium. All other food and beverages MUST be kept outside the dressing room
and the auditorium.

The studio office will be open Monday and Tuesday from 3:30-6pm for a last chance to purchase recital tickets in advance. After Tuesday, tickets will only be available at the door, so please plan accordingly.
