Join us tomorrow for another summer reading program.

A few quick updates - no crochet club tonight and no older elementary book club tomorrow. Please accept our apologies. Illness is plaguing some staff. If anyone wants to come crochet, staff can pull supplies out for you. Older elementary students can pick up the first book, #1 of the Babysitter's Club: Kristy's Great Idea. There are eight (8) copies available. Read the book and come back on July 17th prepared to do an activity based on the book and pick up the 2nd book of the summer.

Art Club is re-scheduled to next Wednesday at 2pm after the Community quilting bee at 1pm. Both are in the McGinley room. Art Club will be watercolor still life ages 8+ (younger patrons are welcome with a caregiver who can assist them). More information on both will be posted by the weekend along with the next summer event: J&R Pets with prehistoric pets on Tuesday June 23 @ 1PM in the McGinley room. The library has a lot of activities and events for next week. Check back on Sunday to see what is happening for the week.

Library card holders with the Antigo Public Library can check out a one day vehicle pass for a day of the patron's choosing to visit a state park in Wisconsin. Passes are available on a first come, first serve basis, and cannot be reserved. Patrons are encouraged to check out no more than one pass per family per month. The passes are day-use only and are not reusable or renewable. The single use passes are valid for one day of vehicle admission and are not valid for overnight camping stays or reservation fees.

When you check-out the one-day pass, you must provide a date for the visit that will be written onto the pass before it is given to the patron. That pass is valid for that day only. The date can be a single date or a three-day-range in which the pass would be good for one day within the range of the three days listed on the pass.

If you have been in the library this week you may have seen Ms. Hardin working on a mural in the young adult section. Ms. Hardin was the art teacher at Antigo Middle School from 2022-2026. Before Tonya relocates to Two Rivers, WI, where she will be teaching in the fall, she is creating a wonderful mural inspired by the many books that mark adolescent experiences across genres. We are thrilled that she accepted the commission before leaving Antigo. We hope she returns to teach some art classes later in the summer and in the fall here at the library.

This summer the APL is hosting the Antigo High School Table Top Gaming Club in the McGinley room every Thursday from 3:30PM - 5PM beginning June 4th with Mr. Kangail.

Join us this Thursday June 4th to kick off the Summer Reading Program. See a Magic show. Pick up a reading challenge. Pick up a Pizza Hut reading challenge (83 available each month - June, July, & August).

Join Children’s Wisconsin - Northwoods Offices for summer programming at the Library. Programs are Mondays from 10AM-11:30AM on the lawn. In cases of rain, meet in the McGinley room.
