Leadership Skills Training will be back in Calhoun County this fall!

Invest in your current and future leaders through one of Alabama's most recognized professional development programs.

Through a partnership among AIDT, the Calhoun County Area Chamber & Visitor's Center, and the Calhoun County Economic Development Council, local employers have access to Leadership Skills Training courses 1, 2, and 3, designed to strengthen communication, problem-solving, team leadership, and workplace effectiveness.

Whether you are preparing employees for leadership roles or helping experienced supervisors sharpen their skills, these courses provide practical tools you can apply immediately in today's manufacturing and business environments.

Today, we joined Kobay South for a groundbreaking ceremony for the company's newest expansion alongside community partners and elected officials, which will add 60,000 square feet to its Oxford facility and create 50 new jobs.

For a decade, Kobay South has been a strong part of our local manufacturing base, building high-quality automotive components while investing in people, partnerships, and long-term growth. We are grateful for their continued investment and proud to support their growth.

We were proud to celebrate Bryant Machine Co., Inc.’s latest milestone with a groundbreaking ceremony today. Last year, the family-owned company announced a $3.26 million expansion, which includes a new 22,000-square-foot facility and the creation of 12 new jobs.

A special thank you to the Calhoun County Area Chamber & Visitor's Center for coordinating the event, and to Calhoun County, Alabama for their partnership and support that made this project possible.

Most importantly, thank you to the family of Bryant Machine Co., Inc. for allowing us to be part of this milestone. We are honored to celebrate your success and continued investment in Calhoun County.

We were honored to welcome British Consul General Rachel Galloway for a special visit with one of our existing industries, Doncasters Structural Castings of Oxford.

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, Doncasters is a worldwide manufacturer of vacuum and air melt investment castings in Nickel and Cobalt base superalloys for the aerospace, industrial gas turbine and commercial markets. The company’s continued investment in Calhoun County and presence in the community highlight the importance of international partnerships.

As a token of appreciation, we were proud to present the Consul General with a painting by renowned artist Larry Martin, celebrating both culture and collaboration.

We are grateful for the Consul General’s time, engagement, and commitment to strengthening ties between our communities. We look forward to continued partnership and shared success.

Associated MetalCast, LLC, a manufacturer of precision-machined, complex metal components, is expanding its Alabama operations through a $6.24 million investment that will create 50 jobs and introduce new equipment and advanced technology.
