Project Spotlight Revisited | Mellow Mushroom – Blacksburg, VA

It's always rewarding to look back at projects that continue to stand the test of time. Encore Construction was proud to partner with Mellow Mushroom Blacksburg on this ground-up restaurant in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Designed to reflect Mellow Mushroom's fun and distinctive brand, this project incorporated unique materials, creative design, and one-of-a-kind architectural elements to create an inviting dining experience. From the foundation to the finishing touches, every detail came together to bring this vibrant space to life.

We're proud to revisit this standout project and the craftsmanship that continues to define the Encore Construction name.

How do you fully renovate a busy medical facility without displacing a single patient? It all comes down to meticulous pre-planning and a dedicated team.

We recently completed an open renovation for Bosley Medical in Bethesda. To ensure zero weekday downtime for their staff and patients, our team executed the entire project over three consecutive weekends in June.

The secret to seamless weekend ex*****on? Preparation. All custom millwork was measured and fabricated, and the MechoShade blinds were ordered well in advance, ensuring 100% of materials were on-hand the moment we stepped on site.

Project Scope Included:
- Custom millwork & a new reception feature wall
- Commercial LVT flooring in service areas and treatment rooms
- Upgraded LED recessed lighting & new ceiling tiles
- New plumbing fixtures & MechoShade blinds
- Fresh paint throughout the entire space
