Here’s the “end” result of my doggie heinie project... yeah, can never resist a bad pun. Thanks to IKEA for their awesome Bastis hooks that are perfect for leashes and keys. (If I could only get them to make a feline version.)

And as always, a huge thanks to Jess Sea and Jose for making SeaPaint, the most amazing all-natural mineral paint on the planet. Sea Salt and Manta Ray are on this one but you should totally check out their incredible spectrum of gorgeous colors.

I’ll be making a couple more of these in different neutral-ish colors so message me if you’re interested.

Just in time for back to school... signs to hold a wallet-sized photo for each year. These were a labor of love and an exercise in patience! I think it paid off, and I'm fortunate to work with the always magical SeaPaint that makes projects oh so much easier. (Coastal Coconut mixed with Manta Ray to increase color and intensity, lettering done with Sea Salt)

It’s the middle of blue crab season here in Maryland so I recreated this previous custom design using SeaPaint, the world’s best paints that are derived from sea minerals and completely non-toxic. The lettering is the gorgeous dark teal color of Anchored.

I’ve always liked this welcoming, familiar typeface, and you can download it free.

The National Parks’ iconic typeface has never been digitized–until now It’s part of designer and professor Jeremy Shellhorn’s Design Outside Studio, which takes on design projects in Rocky Mountain National Park.

What better way to say hi after a bit of an absence than with a gorgeous sunset? And it's National Beach Day! I took this two weeks ago from Fort Myers Beach in SW Florida looking at Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel Island and the Sanibel Causeway.

Red tide and other algae have hit the area waters very badly this year and it's become an environmental crisis. But there's so much more to do other than the beaches. And the area will bounce back. I could have cancelled my annual vacation there earlier this month but it's so important to support small businesses. And that's why I support the SW Florida Challenge.

I’ve had the privilege of doing some large-scale graphics for A La Mode Intimates in Annapolis and tomorrow will be dropping off some polystyrene inserts for their sidewalk sandwich board. I love how they turned out! (Concept, copywriting and design by me, print production by the always terrific Signs By Tomorrow-Annapolis.)

The White House says FLOTUS Melania Trump herself designed the logo for Be Best, her anti-bullying initiative. Feedback has been fairly ruthless. I'm wondering if it speaks to the power of working with a professional graphic designer!

I recently helped a friend with some pro bono design work for Jones Elementary School’s 5K Run for Technology and Feisty Fox Fun Run and I’m thrilled that she repaid me by putting my logo on their event shirt (bottom right)! Go Feisty Foxes!

I found this in an artist's group and it's so true! Don't buy mass-produced signs from Homegoods, Target, etc., that are likely made in China. Work with an individual to get a beautiful, unique, custom piece and support your community's artists!
