Ruben Moreno & The Zydeco Re-Evolution - a proud young Chicano-Creole artist from Houston Texas. At the ripe old age of 27 Ruben Moreno is a veteran of the musical road, having begun playing professionally at age 13, and hitting the road at age 15, playing Rubboard with some of Zydeco’s greatest performers such as CJ Chennier, Leroy Thomas and Andre Thierry.

Drawing on his rich musical roots, he captures both the Louisiana and the Texas Zydeco sound, and brings a fresh new energy and vision to the Creole Zydeco he loves.

Good opportunity!

The 2019 National Folk Festival Marketplace will exclusively feature the juried, handmade creations of the finest artists and craftspeople from the State of Maryland and the Delmarva Peninsula. It will include both deeply traditional crafts and more contemporary artistic expressions. Only 30 - 40 vendors will be chosen to participate. Serious artists and craftspeople are encouraged to apply before the final deadline: MONDAY, APRIL 1.

Please read the guidelines before applying - they answer almost every question a vendor might have.
