I, Joe Coughlin am seeking to serve as your next
MSEA Treasurer for the
Maryland State Education Association.

As Treasurer, I will work with our locals to grow membership, especially in our ESP locals and I am determined to continue the fight with all adversaries of Agency Fee. I will help locals in obtaining all grants that available and to them and how grants can be used to strengthen their organization.

This past year, I’ve shadowed the current treasurer to get a better understanding of the responsibilities of the position. I believe this will make my transition to oversee MSEA resources smoother and ensure strong financial support and organizational goals.

Elect me to ensure our budget grows MSEA’s leadership role in education, by advocating and organizing on issues important to members and students.
