Happy Boxing Day! This tradition started in the late 1600s as a way for the wealthy to give leftovers from Christmas Day to the poor, and evolved, in the Victorian era, to be a day off for servants, who had to work on Christmas. Now, like many holidays, it has become another opportunity for sales and consumerism. May we continue to remember the spirit of the day, as we sit in abundance and gratitude.

Greetings, everyone! Let me re-introduce myself to you: I am a passionate writer and storyteller. "Obviously your essay is going to be an important factor," said an admissions officer. And then he cautioned us not to write about the TWO things they get the most of.
