Happy 4th of July from these cuties!! These are some of our favorite photos from the PET PARADE in Historic Stevensville this past weekend.
⭐️This is also a friendly reminder to keep your pets safe this holiday by keeping them indoors and safely secured. This is the busiest day for shelters due to many pets getting lost during fireworks and parties.

My session with Shannon was an extra special session for me. She was my first official end of life session. It’s a long story, which can be found on my blog, but she and her family helped me during a difficult time. I’ll always remember this session 💕

Kilowatt's two colored eyes stand out right away against his all white coat and makes him very unique! Two-colored eyes are very sought after for adopters, so it is no surprise how quickly he got adopted.
Heterochromia is the condition in which an animal or person has more than one eye color. Having two different eye colors is rare and usually passed on through genetics. In fact, heterochromia is more common in animals since they often breed within their own gene pool.
Some specific breeds, such as Australian shepherds, Australian cattle dogs, dalmatians, and huskies, are more prone to carrying the genetics for heterochromia. It is still possible to see heterochromia in other breeds, such as Kilowatt.
