Tornado-damaged historic brewery building in Ann Arbor picking up pieces, sale delayed A pending sale of the historic property was scheduled for Thursday, the day after a tornado hit and took out parts of the building's roof and bricks.

Crews are working on fourth Street between Liberty and W Williams to remove trees and debris. The museum is open but only accessible from the parking lot on Williams and Third.

The Argus Museum is closed until further notice due to debris and downed power lines on Fourth Street and W Williams. We ask that you also avoid this area until it is safe.

We can now confirm there was in fact a tornado that touched down in Ann Arbor last night and it ended on our corner of Fourth and W Williams. We are happy that no serious damage was done to our historical building and glad no one was seriously hurt during the storms.
Confirmed tornadoes in Ann Arbor, Lincoln Park bring total to 7 overnight across Michigan The Ann Arbor tornado saw winds that reached an estimated peak of 110 mph.
The Argus Museum is temporarily closed until further notice due to power outage and damage due to the storm last night.
