This project was all about building a brand that matched the same level of detail and care that they bring day in and day out.
No matter the highs or the lows I look back it still blows my mind what I get to do for a living.
I get to play around on a computer all day and make pretty pictures some would say. Even my younger self perhaps.
But I get to do so much more
I am a story teller. A legacy builder. I create brands out of nothing but the words and expressions of people that may outlast the person themselves.

Ill be the odd one out and admit as a creative I use AI. Does it replace the work that matters? Absolutely not. It's a tool I use to save time on the things I don't want to do so I can enjoy the work I do.
It does make things easier, but it still doesn't replace the things that matter. You still have to have a clear direction and strategy.
I may have only gained 2 new followers over the last 30-45 days, but I've also gotten out of my comfort zone, gotten in front of a camera, and have posted more consistently than I ever have. AI was the brand audit I needed to see where I needed to step up.

MoonShot Pizzeria started with a late night, a Starbucks, and “That’s Amore” stuck in my head. The brief wrote itself from there.
Handmade dough. Fresh-pulled cheese. Herbs from the rooftop. Not a single corner cut. The brand needed to match that. So we built something with real personality, something that works on a sign or a box and still holds up at thumbnail size.
The logo plays off the old theory that the moon is made of cheese. Because of course it does.

I pulled up a local business and audited their brand:
There logo is hard to find and upon Googling they have 4 different marks. Which one is primary, which one is complimentary and which is no longer in use?
Their website is too merchandise-forward. I would have no idea this is cafe just by their homepage and unless you see the “menu” navigation button you would think it’s an online retailer
Their social media page while it has inconsistent branding with the website, it does a great job at visual story telling and showing people the cafe’s activity.

A logo isn’t just a logo.
