Angola Engineering & MS4

Angola Engineering has been informed of an upcoming road closure starting early tomorrow morning, Tuesday, June 23, on US Hwy 20 (W. Maumee St) at the railroad tracks directly in front of Trine University.

Indiana Northeastern Railroad Company, in conjunction with Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), will completely close this portion of the roadway to make improvements and repairs to the crossing structure.

The closure is scheduled to begin early tomorrow morning and is expected to run through Friday. All motorists, commuters, and university visitors are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes, plan for extra travel time, and exercise caution when navigating the surrounding detour routes.

We are monitoring the project closely and will provide updated information to the community as soon as we receive it from INDOT and the railroad.

For anyone wanting to recycle this weekend at Northeast Indiana Solid Waste Management District

The Angola Street Department will be performing emergency road repairs tomorrow morning, June 11th, at the intersection of Pine Run and Sarah Drive. A small portion of the roadway collapsed due to damage from the storm line, and our crews will be working to get it safely repaired as quickly as possible.

Please avoid the area if possible and seek an alternate route for your morning commute, as the roadway will be closed at times and lanes will be restricted throughout the morning.

UPCOMING STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Beginning Monday, June 8th, the Angola Street Department will begin removing sidewalks and curbs along Shawnee Drive. This work marks the initial stage of an upcoming street improvement project for the area.

Please expect minor delays and use extra caution when driving through the work zone, keeping a close eye out for crews and heavy equipment. Residents living along Shawnee Drive should have received an informative door hanger detailing the scope of the project.
