Madison Shepherd

Madison started riding at home on a little pit quad when she was around six years old. Elka is definitely stage 5 in size. Ha, see what we did there?
Madison Shepherd #100
Youth ATV Racer | 2025 90 Auto ATV National Champion | D14 Champion | AMA Podium Finisher | Racing out of Angola, IN – full throttle in every moto! | Powered by grit, speed, and a love for the sport. She and her dad, Brett, learned about DRR race quads, picked one up, and jumped into racing with her first gate drop at Log Road, and she’s loved it ever since. Madison grew up watching car racing, jet ski racing, Monster Jam, and freestyle dirt bikes, so it was no surprise when she found her own passion for racing. She now practices nearly every day, building her skills and staying ready for the next gate drop. Brett Shepherd, Madison’s dad, mechanic, and mentor, works endlessly to keep her quads in top shape. He’s one of the best mechanics you’ll find at the track, always making sure Madison is ready to compete at her best. The Shepherd family is always willing to help other ATV riders, with Madison’s mom, Heidi, also serving as the rider rep for the D14 ATV MX organization. Weekends are spent at the track as a family with her mom, Heidi, twin sister, Isabelle, and their dog, Elka. Madison is fast, skilled, confident, and calm on the track while staying humble and focused. One of our favorite Madison moments was when she asked a flagger for a wrench during a race, showing how well she understands her machines and proving her strong determination. Madison races primarily in the National ATV MX Series and the D14 ATV MX Series, but she loves hitting up local tracks and racing wherever she can. She would never show up and tell you she’s one of the top riders in the nation, but the second she hits the track, it shows. Her calm racer IQ, skill, and drive to get better every lap are what set her apart, whether she’s racing a national or just putting in laps at a local track she loves. For Madison, racing isn’t just a sport; it’s what she loves to do with her family and where she feels most at home.

Baja Acres Millington, MI ATV MX national championship!
Came into the weekend excited to racing a national at one of our favorite D14 tracks! This weekend came with mixed emotions with some exciting racing and some tough mechanical failures taking Madison out of girls and 90 shifter class this weekend. We made the most of it after her motor locked up in the 90 shifter taking Madison out of the girls class staying and having fun cheering on our friends in the girls class!
Weekend results:
Girls class mechanical failure
Schoolgirl 1-1 1st overall 🥇
90 shifter 2-mechanical failure
250 mod 7-6 6th overall
Thank you to everyone who continue to support her!!
