Here is the latest letter from the boy that we sponsor in Liberia:
"When school close my plan is to make farm and also help my people do some work at home. Visit other family members too. That is my plan for summer."

Due to the forecasted severe weather and the potential for violent storms in our area this evening, we have made the decision to cancel all Fairview Students activities tonight.

This decision was not made lightly, but the safety of our students, volunteers, and families is our highest priority. Weather professionals are predicting the possibility of dangerous conditions, and we believe it is best for everyone to remain home and off the roads tonight.

We encourage everyone to stay safe, stay weather-aware, and spend some extra time with your family this evening.

Tuesday Tennis is still on! We may be spending some of the time in the gym, but we will keep our original lunch plans and hope the rain lifts for us to still go swimming.
