The Pregnancy Help Center is having a diapers and wipes drive. Let’s help them stock their shelves! Take diapers and/wipes to the church anytime before March 1!

Thanksgiving Blessing Basket needs:
• The restaurant that donated the smoked turkeys last year is unable to do so this year. So, additional $25 gift cards to Walmart/Kroger/H‑E‑B would help families with perishable items including a turkey or other meat.
• There are about 25-30 grocery list leaves left on the trees in the foyer. If you would still like to help with donated non-perishable items, you can still pick up leaves Wednesday evening or Sunday morning.

All gift cards and non-perishable items need to be dropped off by Sunday morning if possible. The latest time to drop them off is Sunday at 4pm when we begin packing baskets.

One of the ladies at FBC, Bethany Craddock, works at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital. They are having a Patient Care Assistant job fair tomorrow, August 31. She asked me to pass this along in case anybody is looking for a job and has any experience as a nursing assistant, EMT, medical assistant, paramedic, patient care technician, etc.

Don’t forget to pick up some school supplies to donate while you’re shopping this week! Today is Amazon Prime Day (for those of you who are Prime members) which means there are lot of school supply deals. There are also great sales at Walmart and other local retailers! Many school supplies are less than $1 each right now!

A friend of mine posted this today. This is a great time to stock up on supplies to donate for students and teachers. You can grab some lists off the trees in the church foyer or see the lists in the comments.
