🚗 Drive-Thru Event (See Map):
-Enter from the main drive and follow the route
-Stay in your vehicle
-Staff and volunteers will load trees for you

🌱 Reminders:
-Limit 3 trees per vehicle
-750 trees + butterfly seed balls available while supplies last

In partnership with Trees for Houston, we’re excited to give away:
🌱 750 FREE trees, including:
• Eagleston Holly (shrub)
• Shumard Oak
• Swamp Chestnut Oak
• Live Oak
• Southern Magnolia

🌼 Butterfly seed balls - Thanks to the hard work of KAB, the Angleton Parks and Recreation Department, and volunteers, over 700 seed balls were made this week to support this event!

Stop by, grab your tree and seed balls, and be part of making Angleton more beautiful and sustainable. Supplies are limited, so come early!

Last night, Keep Angleton Beautiful was honored at the Texas Environmental Leadership Awards, where staff proudly accepted the State Winner Award for Exceptional Environmental Partnership—shared with our partners at Keep Pearland Beautiful! 💚♻️

Presented by the State of Texas Alliance for Recycling (STAR), this award recognizes organizations making a meaningful impact through sustainability, recycling, education, and environmental stewardship.

This partnership has helped strengthen regional collaboration, expand recycling efforts, and support a cleaner, greener future for both communities. We’re incredibly proud to be recognized for this work! 🌱✨

We’re ready for Keep Angleton Beautiful Fall Sweep tomorrow! 🌳
Please follow the traffic flow map below to help keep things moving smoothly during the event.

🚗 Enter from the east entrance located on N. Valderas and follow the arrows through each station:

Join us this Saturday, November 8th, for Keep Angleton Beautiful Fall Sweep at the Angleton Recreation Center and take home your free fruit trees!

This year, we’re giving away 500 fruit trees to Angleton residents — limit 2 per vehicle, while supplies last.
Distribution begins at 8:00 AM — come early to get your pick!

• Off-Rim Tires (Car & Light Truck Only; Limit 8 per Household)
• Paper Shredding (5 File Boxes per Car)

💻 Electronics Accepted:
• Televisions (Limit 2 per Household)
• Computers, Cellphones, Telephones
• DVD/CD/VCR Players
• Radios/Stereo Equipment
• Cables, Wires, Gaming Consoles, Tablets, PDAs, GPS Equipment

🎨 Latex Paint Recycling:
• Must Be Labeled (Limit 10 per Household)
• No Dry or Empty Paint Cans or Hazardous Waste

The City of Angleton and Keep Angleton Beautiful are inviting local and regional artists to help transform ordinary traffic signal boxes into vibrant works of art. 🌸🦋🐦

Theme: Texas Wildflowers, Texas Birds, and Butterflies 🌼

📅 Deadline to Apply: Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM
📍 Open to artists, students, schools, and community organizations within a 70-mile radius of Angleton.
