The Turquoise Fairy

Just painted a little two seater bench my son made me in a southwestern look for my front porch. Fits right in my little space. I love sitting on the front porch in the evenings.

Just finished a big brown antique chest of drawers this past weekend. Lots of detail that took me awhile to do. Removed all the chipped veneer off the top and drawers to expose what looks like old wood. Not an easy task for sure. Stenciled inside the drawers and put a coat of sealer. Turquoise, black handles, art and butterflies meaning hope. It’s really pretty.

Painted some old brown rockers for 2 little sisters so they can rock with their momma on the front porch. Little Sis’s is hot pink and has her favorite animated horse Spirit on the seat and Big Sis has a combination of art all over the seat. Nothin better than lazy days spending time with mom!❤️

Normally I'm painting a chair but I wanted to paint an old dresser for my bathroom. I love seeing the pictures of sinks in them so I've finally done it. Wanted to show my finished piece. Gray distressed, stained top, bold yellow handles with my light fixtures to match and a bit of a turquoise green trim around the rim. This has really dressed up an old bathroom.

Hello everyone! My granddaughter asked if I would donate a chair to the silent auction for seniors serve in Angleton so I said yes I would. This chair was so plain that I decided to go wild and crazy. All mismatched fun so please zoom in to see the flags, wildcat paws, road signs, stripes, checks, polka dots and little pics like the owl and tiny sailboat!

Finally I'm painting again! Love my grandkids so for my 9 year old grandson I painted this chair for a fall festival tomorrow at school. Black, gold, pinks and yellow with a nice black and white upholstered seat.

HaPpY Easter everyone! Today I wanted to update my gate by making a screen door out of fenceboard and screen. Painted creamy with blotchy hot pink. I painted my screen to show a pattern but it's not showing up well. Used an old handle from a rotten gate, sprayed flowers from a garage sale to make the wreath, stenciling welcome and little chickies with metal flower and butterfly. Hope y'all have a great weekend.

For everyone on my page I just finished an old brown chest yesterday with mellow yellow body and simple design on the side, brightly colored drawers with a vintage lace pattern and rustic k***s with gold metallic drybrushed with black.

I've been wanting to do a table and chair set for some time now. Once I found the old furniture that I wanted to use, I created a design. Four chairs, silver metallic, gold metallic, red and yellow with animal print cushions and inspirational words. The words that are on the back of the chairs are LOVE, LAUGH, FAITH and HOPE. I blended the colors to the table and put animal print on top.

The weathers gotten cooler and I'm back and excited to paint. I painted a little chair in different colors, animal print around the seat, painting underneath and an accent pillow with an old sweater and a little material. Hope everyone likes it.
