The Brazoria County 4-H Horse Advisory Committee will be meeting on June 17th to begin planning for the upcoming 2026-2027 horse project year, and we invite all horse project parents to be part of the conversation.

This is your opportunity to:
💚 Share ideas for future events and educational opportunities
🐴 Help shape the direction of our horse project
🤝 Learn more about the planning that goes into making our program successful
📅 Provide input on activities, clinics, point shows, and other opportunities for our youth

The success of our program comes from the involvement and support of our families, and we’d love to hear your thoughts as we prepare for another exciting year.

Whether you’ve been involved for years or are brand new to the project, your voice matters.

A free New World screwworm inspector training is now available to all Texans through AgriLife Learn.

The course covers New World screwworm biology, inspection protocols, reporting and more, and is open to anyone who wants to better understand how to protect their animals. Those who qualify may apply to become a certified New World screwworm inspector through the Texas Animal Health Commission.
