As these 40 mph wind gusts continue to roll through the area, trees with existing structural weaknesses are the first to split. Co-dominant stems (trees with two main trunks growing in a 'V' shape) act like a sail, catching the wind and prying themselves apart right down the middle.

When the ground turns to soup, mature trees lose their grip. 🌧️💨
With several days of heavy rain soaking Brazoria County, the soil is completely saturated. Add 40\text{ mph} wind gusts into the mix, and even a healthy-looking tree can experience total root failure. The root system simply can't hold on in muddy earth.

Great job will use them again.
Mike is maxed out at 75 feet in the bucket, and this pecan limb is still another 30 feet above him. Most of the time, we are rigging and lowering every section to protect a roof or a fence. But when the runway is wide open, we take the opportunity to let the big stuff fly.
Dropping wood from this height takes a steady hand on the saw and a clear line of sight.

This is my second time having them come to the house to take care of my trees and I will do it again. If you ever need trees worked on call them. They are excellent, efficient and great bunch of employees. They pick everything up and leaves your yard they way they saw it when they got there.
