Having an Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix has its challenges, and 99% of those challenges are allowing him to get all his energy out on a regular basis. We’re close to the beach but have yet to take Bo to it. Today we changed that! What an enriching day 🥰🐶

Guess who got an enclosure upgrade! Our skinks deserve the best and that’s just what they got! 🥰 We work hard to make sure our kiddos always have everything they deserve and now they get a chance to swim which is a natural behavior for them!

Guess who got an upgrade this weekend! We got a steal of a deal on this new 60 gallon tank and stand and spruced it up for our little aquatic friends 🥰 they love it already and their fish family looks just so happy! We love making the lives of our animals better every day 🫶

Little bit late because how crazy this week has been… but here are two other rescues we’ve taken in this week! First one is Finn, who just needed a new home! No home is complete without a Betta so we were thrilled to keep him in ours 💙 and second, is Viserion, an accidental leopard gecko hatchling who is JUST DARLING!! We don’t get babies much around here, so it’s always a happy surprise when we do!

Busy week! This is Letuchaya mysh’ (Lettie for short)! She is a Russian Long-Eared Hedgehog, and a 4 year old retired breeder.. this little lady hasn’t ever gotten to be at a personable home and we can’t wait to give her one! She deserves to have her personality shine through! We are so excited about what she’s going to bring to the sanctuary 🥰🥰

Got in a new critter today! This little guy was found by a family in their backyard! He was climbing trees and even swimming in their pool! They managed to catch him and make sure he got a good home with people who knew how to care for him properly! Thanks to this wonderful family, we can welcome BBQ to his new forever home 💚
BBQ is a very young Nile Monitor and this is just the beginning for him, as he can get up to 6 feet long! He’s skinny and stressed now, but we have the perfect TLC to get back to his crazy self! It’s going to take time and lots of space to properly raise this lil guy up to be at his full potential! We so appreciate responsible pet owners that, A: know their limits, and B: contact the right people to help save an animal.
