Ancient hatred - all or nothing = NO
Ancient acceptance - anything = Yes
Ishmael despised Isaac, Esau despised Jacob. Ishmael & Isaac were promised 12 - Ishmael 12 princes, Isaac 12 tribes.
Arabs have 25 nations & MASSIVE OIL,
Jews have 1 tiny nation & some natural gas. Arabs have started 8 wars to end Israel. Israel still has less than 5% of the promised land. Arabs say too much.
Peel Commission: When the Jews said yes to ~3% of their original national homeland, and the Arab leadership said no.
We should really talk about this.
Most people donโt know this, but the framework following the Balfour Declaration, later formalized at the San Remo Conference, placed both modern-day Israel and Jordan within the British Mandate for Palestine.
Britain had committed to establishing a Jewish national home in that territory.
Then Britain changed course.
Under Winston Churchill in 1921 to 1922, about 78% of the Mandate was separated and placed under Arab rule.
That area became what we now call Jordan.
That was the first partition.
Jews to the west of the Jordan River.
Arabs to the east. And the Arabs received most of the land. But it didnโt end there.
The conflict continued over the remaining 22%.
In 1929, Jews were massacred in Hebron and other cities. Then came the Great Arab Revolt, with widespread attacks on Jews and coordinated violence led by Haj Amin al Husseini.
So in 1937, Britain concluded the conflict could not be resolved and proposed another partition.
Now look at the offer.
๐ Jews were offered roughly 15% of the remaining 22%. A small, fragmented strip in the Galilee and along the coast, with restrictions on immigration and land purchase.
๐ Arabs were offered about 80% of that same area, including the Negev, Judea and Samaria, the Jordan Valley, and most of the land.
๐ About 5% was to remain under international control.
Not exactly a generous offer to the Jews. And yet, after intense debate, the Zionist movement accepted the idea of partition. Something was better than nothing.
At this point, we are talking about roughly 3% of the original Mandate territory.
The Arab leadership rejected it outright.
No negotiations. No counteroffers. Just a complete no.
So already in 1937, the pattern was easy to see:
๐ Jews: willing to accept a state, even a small one.
๐ Arab leadership: reject a Jewish state at any size.

Ouch
Israel Hayom, a newspaper owned by one of Trump's top donors, Miriam Adelson, published an op-ed entitled, "You could have been the greatest president of all, but you failed" over the Iran-US memorandum of understanding, saying "Mr. President, you have gravely harmed the human interests of the enlightened world, and you may be remembered forever as the president who brought about America's humiliation. You betrayed us, the Israelis."
๏ฟญ Adelson, a dual US-Israeli citizen with a fortune of tens of billions of dollars, has had close ties to Trump for years and is one of the most influential pro-Israel donors in Republican politics.
