Happy Friday to all!
This is Bob with Integrity Electric Services, like you I'm glad the hot summer is over and now we have cooler temps. That being said, there is still time before the cold, wet & snowy weather arrives to finish those lingering projects before the Holiday's get here. So what can we do to help you, you might ask, well the word "Services" implies we do many types of electrical work. From the usual updating of outlets & switches and lighting on up to remodel & panel upgrades. We recently updated some kitchen fluorescents to LED bulbs that really "LIT" up the room. So whatever the electrical need you may have including repairs, that is what we "LIVE" for.

Today’s subject is maintenance, I know it’s “Labor Day Week-end” lol. Anyway, just took truck in to rotate tires, and this made me think about what other things around the home that need maintenance. Probably most everything right. Let’s narrow it down to your homes electrical system. For instance, ever plugged in a cord and it falls out of the outlet, or flipped a switch that feels weird or have you turned on a fluorescent light that after a few minutes begins to give you the “Disco” effect. I just wanted to give a shout out to Mike at Black Diamond Graphics for some new magnetic signs!

I hope you all had a great week. Mine started with a “Circus” high wire act, in the middle I was carefully “Pacing around like a Bengal Tiger”,(in a dark attic), and at the end, as all good “Circus’s” have, “Clowning around “ with the folks at Sonora Chrysler, getting our truck serviced.

Today I was called to the “kitchen”, not to eat but to do a face lift? Sounds like a bad dream, lol. Actually, beautiful new tile was installed for a backsplash and the existing white outlets and switches had to go. We changed them to dark brown and that change allowed the new tile to really pop. Great idea Steve, great improvement.

Yesterday, after resolving a problem with an GFCI issue, I decided to understand better how a GFCI works and the importance of those in our homes. A GFCI protects us from electrocution in the bath & kitchen sink areas. Though it would take some time to explain what I’ve learned, let me say this, if you don’t have one in each of those areas you need one.

April 15th “Tax Day” has come and gone, some will get money back, others will have to pay. If you are of the latter we understand, having to pay taxes is never fun but brighter days are ahead.

Getting close to wrapping up an electrical remodel. Built in the 50’s, the owner has really classed up this little cabin.
