BEGINNING SEWING MACHINE CLASS
Classes taught by Ginger & Kathy Duffy

Limit 2 persons per class unless otherwise arranged
8 years or older.
Class times 2-4 hours.
Class can start as early as 10am. All classes will end by 4pm unless otherwise arranged.
There are three choices for your project: pillowcase, tote bag or small zipper bag. We will provide all supplies for the project you select. If you choose the zipper bag, you will need a zipper foot that fits your machine. You are also welcome to bring your own fabrics.

$25 for 2 hours per person. $40 for 4 hours. Call for scheduling on Tuesdays through Saturdays. All classes end by 4pm unless otherwise arranged. (WE ARE FLEXIBLE!)

WHAT YOU BRING:
A sewing machine, scissors and pins. If available, bring the machine manual for your machine and all sewing attachments. If you do not have a machine to bring, you are welcome to use one of ours.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

How to thread your machine
How to change a needle
How to wind a bobbin and place in your machine
How to sew a straight line
How to use scissors properly
How to cut a straight line on fabric
How to pin a pattern to your fabric
How to cut out a pattern on your fabric

OTHER CLASSES AVAILABLE

Weekend or evening classes, for sewing or quilting, may be scheduled upon personal requests.
We are also available for sewing help & guidance with your projects.

Join us tomorrow for a live presentation at 3 pm Eastern Time. Our topic will be machine maintenance. We will cover cleaning and oiling the BERNINA hook, drop-in bobbin, front load bobbin and overlocker. Included is a reminder on how to clean your scissor function and more!

After 2 years it is finally done! I have the patterns for the blocks if any one is interested.

Teapot Calendar Mystery Quilt. If you want to make the blocks or background here with me, you can make an appointment by phone. We can email you the patterns once the total cost is paid and the patterns are available each month.

New mystery quilt class starting April 16! Showing 1st two blocks of Teacup Calendar quilt. Each month you will receive 2 applique teacups. Directions for background will be given at the 1st class. Total cost for 12 teacup blocks $50

Julsie & Ava came today to make & decorate Christmas trees! Kids classes are not scheduled(so much going on in their lives) but can be arranged to fit their schedules. $10 per hour. After school, weekends...whatever works for them!
